Checklist
When applying
for a loan, there are documents you must have,
and other documents that may be requested
of you from your Mortgage Lender. We have provided
a list of the most commonly requested items below, however
each mortgage company has seperate requirements, so
you should work with your Morgage Lender directly
to figure out what they need for their company to
process your loan application. If you are looking

You Must Have to Process Your Loan Application |
- Most recent paystubs showing "Year-To-Date"
earnings, covering a period of the last month.
- W-2 tax forms for the most recent year.
- Bank statements with all pages for all bank accounts to
cover a period of one (1) to two (2) months

That May Be Requested to Process Your Loan Application |
- Copy of a ratified sales contract including all addenda
on the subject property.
- Copy of the front and back of your earnest money deposit
check or bank statement showing that the check has cleared.
- Sales contract of the home you are selling at another
address.
- Settelment statement (HUD-1) from the sale of the home
you just sold.
- Signed federal tax returns.
- Signed business tax returns.
- Year-To-Date profit and loss statements from your business.
- One (1) to two (2) months or a quarterly statement for
all assets (IRAs, Stocks, 401K, Pension, etc.).
- Gift letter signed by the Donor and Recipient, verification
of donor's account and verification of deposit into borrower's
account.
- Fully executed current lease agreement for all rental
properties.
- Complete divorce decree/separation agreement/property
settlement agreement.
- VA Certificate of Eligibility/DD214/transfer orders/statement
of active duty/VA form 25-1880

- Original hazard insurance policy and paid receipt for
1one (1) year.
- Termite Inspection Report
